Epidemiology Ph.D. Student
I am a NIOSH-funded second year Ph.D. student specializing in Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology. My areas of research include:
■ heavy metal exposures and chronic disease outcomes
■ low-level arsenic and health effects
■ occupational and environmental exposures and mental health outcomes
Before being a NIOSH trainee at the University of Illinois Chicago, I completed my MPH (Epidemiology) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. I also have experience as a software tester (with a background in engineering).

Research and Engineering Skills
Skilled in statistical modeling for quantitative analysis with such tools as SAS, Stata, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB, etc. Competent with qualitative analysis using NVivo.
Experienced with controlled development with industry standard tools including JIRA, Confluence, Crucible, and SQL.
Extensive Experience applying agile practices under the Atlassian Product Suite while developing in C++, Mathcad, SolidWorks, CATIA, and LabView.
